I had an absolutely FABULOUS weekend up with some of my closest friends from Ferris State University, especially inside of the Newman Center for Catholic Students at FSU, which is an organization near and dear to my heart. (and an organization that deeply impacted my life... more on that later...)

Of course, all good things must come to an end, so I head off to the airport to fly home...

So, here I am sitting in the terminal at Grand Rapids International Airport. My original flight was delayed more than a hour, because the plane broke. I would have missed my connection. But, I should have figured. I have flown with Northwest for years, and they have managed to strand me twice already, why not do it a third time?

I knew Midwest flew out an hour after my NWA flight was supposed to leave, so I suggested to them that I get re-booked on Midwest. You know what? They DID!

Now I'm sitting outside my gate for Midwest. Everything is going to be ok, I think.

As of right now, that plane is delayed 45 minutes. My connection in Milwaukee is in jeopardy of being missed, too.

So, it looks like I will be unable to get to my computer tonight to post a 'real' Gun's Quote. So, for this week, I'll just leave you with this advice:

Take a train.
