It started in Platte County High School's football locker room, but weren't officially posted until they showed up on a marker board outside of Clark Hall, room 319. Then they moved to Pickell Hall. Then they made their way onto Newman Center meeting agendas and E-Mails. They come from everyone and everywhere. The bright and dull, young and old, family and friends, and perhaps even the occasional enemy. They are: THE GUN'S QUOTES!!
For those of you who have never seen or heard of them, the premise of the Gun's Quotes is simple: Listen to people. If you hear (or read) something that makes you think, it makes you remember your roots, or it causes you to roll on the ground in laughter, write it down and share it with everyone you know, because everyone can benefit from a tidbit of knowledge, wisdom, or a joke or two. I'll also follow up the quote with a little bit of background as to where it came from and why I used it when I did.
