So, forgive me, but this is something of a test message. I have no idea how this new blog and “FeedBurner” system is supposed to work, and whether or not the connection I setup between it and Facebook will actually interface. There are still a few bugs and kinks to work out.

Also, I need to give people more time to move from the Facebook group into this new Blog. There are those people who only login to Facebook once or twice a month that haven’t gotten the memo yet, which is fine. I extended out the date of the “Group is Moving” event to August so that it would show up in everyone’s newsfeed at some point if they only get on Facebook once or twice a month, if that.

So that you’re in the loop, the Facebook group and Blogger will run in parallel all summer long until the majority of people get on Blogger. (Only 25 have registered so far) After the summer, I will disconnect the Facebook group from Blogger so that you only get Gun’s Quote messages from Blogger. For those of you who typed your E-Mail into Blogger and are now getting automatic E-Mails, you may wish to change your Facebook settings for the Gun’s Quotes group so that you don’t get double messages every week.

Your “real” Gun’s Quotes will start next week.

As always, please help spread the work. At the time Facebook started to shut down the old Gun’s Quotes group, we had 206 subscribers. Like I said, only 25 people signed up for the new site so we have some ground to make up to get everyone back on board. If you know fellow Gun’s Quotes subscribers, remind them to make the switch!

For those who did type their E-Mail address into Blogger, make sure you confirm your address with the confirmation E-Mail it sends you! About 10 of you have yet to do this and Blogger will not send messages to unconfirmed addresses!
